मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने इस अवसर पर कहा कि प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने संपूर्ण मानव जाति के कल्याण के लिए हमें प्रेम, दया, करूणा और सेवा का मार्ग दिखाया। आज एक महान दिन है,आज ईश्वर की दया,प्रेम और करूणा के लिए उन्हें धन्यवाद कहने का दिन है। हमें उनके बताए मार्ग पर चलने और उनकी शिक्षाओं को अपने आचरण में अपनाने की जरूरत है।
मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने कहा कि हम छत्तीसगढ़ के लोग परंपरागत रूप से प्रेम,सौहार्द्र,भाई - चारे,करूणा और दया के रास्ते पर चलने वाले लोग हैं। हम जिस छत्तीसगढ़ के निर्माण का सपना देखते है,वह इन्हीं गुणों से परिपूर्ण छत्तीसगढ़ होगा। नवा छत्तीसगढ़ के निर्माण का सपना,प्रभु यीशु मसीह के सपनों को साकार करने का ही सपना है। आइए हम सब इस सपने को जल्द से जल्द साकार करने के लिए जुट जाएं।
मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने इस मौके पर केथेड्रल में उपस्थित लोगों के साथ केक काटकर क्रिसमस सेलिब्रेट किया। चर्च में उपस्थित सभी लोगों ने प्रभु की प्रार्थना की। चर्च के गायन दल ने कैरोल गीत प्रस्तुत किए। सेन्ट पॉल केथेड्रल में कोविड-19 प्रोटोकॉल का पालन कर क्रिसमस की खुशियां मनाई गई।
पास्ट्रेट कोर्ट के अध्यक्ष जॉन राजेश पॉल और सचिव केनस नायक ने मुख्यमंत्री बघेल को छत्तीसगढ़ी बाइबिल : नवा नियम की प्रति भेंट की। मुख्यमंत्री ने बाइबिल के राजभाषा छत्तीसगढ़ी में अनुवाद की जानकारी मिलने पर प्रसन्नता जाहिर करते हुए जॉन राजेश पॉल को बधाई और शुभकामनाएं दी।

The Chief Minister expressed happiness and congratulations to John Rajesh Paul on receiving information about the translation of the Bible into the official language Chhattisgarhi.
