प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी द्वारा वीडियो कांफ्रेसिंग के माध्यम से डभोई - चांदोद आमान परिवर्तित ब्रॉड गेज रेल लाइन, चांदोद - केवड़िया नई ब्रॉड गेज रेल लाइन,प्रतापनगर - केवड़िया नवविद्युतीकृत रेल खंड तथा डभोई जं.,चांदोद तथा केवड़िया के नये स्टेशन भवनों का शुभारंभ कर रहे थे। साथ ही प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी व मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने हरी झंडी (वर्चुअली) दिखाकर वाराणसी जं.-केवड़िया एक्सप्रेस, दादर - केवड़िया एक्सप्रेस,अहमदाबाद-केवड़िया जनशताब्दी एक्सप्रेस,हजरत निजामुद्दीन - केवड़िया एक्सप्रेस,रीवा - केवड़िया एक्सप्रेस,चेन्नई - केवड़िया एक्सप्रेस, प्रतापनगर - केवड़िया मेमू तथा केवड़िया - प्रतापनगर मेमू ट्रनों को रवाना किया।
विश्व का बड़ा टूरिस्ट डेस्टीनेशन बन गया है केवड़िया :- प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि सरदार पटेल की विश्व की सबसे ऊंची 'स्टेच्यू ऑफ यूनिटी' प्रतिमा स्थापित किए जाने के बाद केवड़िया विश्व का बड़ा टूरिस्ट डेस्टीनेशन बन गया है। यहां इकोनॉमी (अर्थव्यवस्था) तथा इकोलॉजी (पारिस्थितिकी) दोनों का तेज गति से विकास हुआ है। यहां पर जूलॉजीकल पार्क,जंगल सफारी,आरोग्य वन,पोषण पार्क,ग्लो गार्डन,कैक्ट्स गार्डन,बटर फ्लाई पार्क स्थापित किए गए हैं। साथ ही एकता क्रूज,रॉफ्टिंग भी शुरु किए गए हैं।
नई निर्माण तकनीक से रिकार्ड समय में किया है रेलवे ने कार्य :- प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि यहां पर रेलवे द्वारा ट्रेक के चौड़ी करण,विद्युतीकरण,अधिक गति की ट्रेनों का संचालन आदि कार्य नई निर्माण तकनीकी से रिकार्ड समय में पूरे किए गए हैं। हम अब सेमी हाईब्रिड ट्रेन्स चला रहे हैं तथा हाई स्पीड तकनीकी की ओर बढ़ रहे हैं। साथ ही यह सब पर्यावरण अनूकूल है। केवड़िया में ग्रीन बिल्डिंग रेलवे स्टेशन का निर्माण किया गया है। बड़ोदरा में डीम्ड रेलवे यूनिवर्सिटी प्रारंभ किए जाना भी रेलवे की उपलब्धि है।
पर्यटन, व्यापार, रोजगार तथा औद्योगिक विकास को गति मिलेगी :- रेल मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा कि केवड़िया में स्टेच्यू ऑफ यूनिटी को रेल कनेक्विटी प्रदान करने की इस महत्वाकांक्षी रेल परियोजना के निर्माण से पर्यटन, स्थानीय व्यापार, रोजगार तथा आसपास के इलाकों के आर्थिक एवं औद्योगिक विकास को उल्लेखनीय गति मिलेगी। सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल ने देश को जोड़ा तथा भारतीय रेल उनकी प्रतिमा को पूरे देश से जोड़ रही है।
केवड़िया केवल पर्यटन स्थल नहीं अपितु प्रेरणा स्थल :- मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने परियोजना के संबंध कहा कि केवड़िया में भारत को एक करने वाले लौह पुरुष सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल की विश्व प्रसिद्ध प्रतिमा स्टेच्यू ऑफ यूनिटी स्थापित की गई है। यहां लाखों श्रद्धालु एवं पर्यटक आते हैं। यह केवल पर्यटन स्थल ही नहीं बल्कि प्रेरणा स्थल बन गया है,जो कि हमें देश की एकता एवं अखण्डता की प्रेरणा दे रहा है। यहां के लिए प्रदेश के रीवा से डायरेक्ट रेल कन्क्विटी से प्रदेशवासियों,विशेष रूप से विंध्य क्षेत्र के लोगों को केवड़िया जाने में विशेष सुविधा होगी । इसके लिए मैं प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी का अभिनंदन तथा आभार प्रगट करता हूँ।

Zoological Park, Jungle Safari, Arogya Forest, Nutrition Park, Glow Garden, Cactus Garden, Butter Fly Park have been established here. Also Ekta cruise, rafting have also been started.
Railways have done the work in record time with new construction technology :- Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that works of widening, electrification,running of high speed trains, etc. have been completed by the Railways here in record time.We are now running semi hybrid trains and are moving towards high speed technology. Also, all this environment is favorable. Green building railway station has been constructed at Kevadia. The opening of Deemed Railway University in Vadodara is also an achievement of the Railways.
Tourism, trade, employment and industrial development will gain momentum :- Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said that the construction of this ambitious rail project to provide rail connectivity to the Statue of Unity in Kevadia will boost tourism, local trade, employment and economic in the surrounding areas. And industrial development will gain significant momentum. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel connected the country and Indian Railways is connecting his statue with the whole country.
Kevadia is not only a tourist destination but a place of inspiration :- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the world famous statue of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who united India in Kevadia, Statue of Unity has been established. Millions of devotees and tourists visit here. It has become not only a tourist place but also a place of inspiration,Which is inspiring us for the unity and integrity of the country. For this, the people of the state, especially the people of Vindhya region, will be able to go to Kevadia directly from Rewa in the state.
