जिला खरगोन को जिले की वेबसाइट के लिए डिजिटल गवर्नेंस में उत्कृष्टता - जिला श्रेणी के लिए प्लेटिनम पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया है। केंद्रीय विधि और न्याय,संचार,इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद,सचिव (MEITY) अजय साहनी और अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति विज्ञान भवन,नई दिल्ली और भोपाल,कोलकाता,चेन्नई और विभिन्न स्थानों से पुरस्कार समारोह में शामिल हुए।
ये पोर्टल मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान के दृष्टिकोण की अभिव्यक्ति हैं और मध्यप्रदेश देश का पहला ऐसा राज्य बन गया है जिसने COVID-19 महामारी के दौरान इस तरह की योजना को लागू किया है। डिजिटल इंडिया अवार्ड की महामारी में नवाचार श्रेणी ऐसी सरकारी संस्था का सम्मान करती है,जिसने संचार,स्वास्थ्य,शिक्षा,यात्रा जैसे क्षेत्रों में महामारी के दौरान नागरिकों को विभिन्न गतिविधियों को आसानी से पूरा करने के लिए उत्कृष्ट,अभिनव और डिजिटल समाधान विकसित किया हो अथवा सरकारी सेवाओं की निरंतरता सुनिश्चित की हो।
पुरस्कार श्रेणी डिजिटल गवर्नेंस में उत्कृष्टता - जिला में जिला प्रशासन की उन उपलब्धियों को पुरस्कृत किया जाता है जिसने नागरिकों को क्षेत्रीय भाषा में व्यापक जानकारी प्रदान करने पर अनुकरणीय ध्यान केंद्रित किया है। खरगोन की जिला वेबसाइट को नागरिक केंद्रित आकांक्षाओं को पूरा करने में प्रामाणिक और विश्वसनीय एकल खिड़की सूचना प्रसार प्रणाली होने के लिए प्लैटिनम पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है। यह वेबसाइट दिव्यांग - अनुकूल होने के साथ-साथ जिले के महत्वपूर्ण पहलुओं जैसे पर्यटन,कला,संस्कृति,हस्तशिल्प और उपयोगिताओं तक पहुंच को प्रदर्शित करती है। इस वेबसाइट पर सूचना अंग्रेजी और हिंदी दोनों भाषाओं में उपलब्ध है।
छ : श्रेणियों में से 2 मध्यप्रदेश के खाते में :- डिजिटल इंडिया अवार्ड डिजिटल-गवर्नेंस में अनुकरणीय पहलों और प्रथाओं को सम्मानित करने के लिए इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय की एक पहल है। 6वें डिजिटल इंडिया अवार्ड्स 2020 की घोषणा छ : श्रेणियों में की गई है - महामारी में नवाचार,डिजिटल गवर्नेंस में उत्कृष्टता - केंद्रीय मंत्रालय/ विभाग;डिजिटल गवर्नेंस में उत्कृष्टता - राज्य/ केंद्रशासित प्रदेश,डिजिटल गवर्नेंस में उत्कृष्टता - जिला,ओपन डेटा चैंपियन;और अनुकरणीय उत्पाद।
इन पुरस्कारों के लिए ऑनलाइन नामांकन की प्रक्रिया 23 अक्टूबर से शुरू हुई और एक महीने के लिए जारी रही। इस दौरान 402 नामांकन प्राप्त हुए। नामांकन की शॉर्टलिस्टिंग और रैंकिंग भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (आईआईटी) दिल्ली द्वारा की गयी। प्रत्येक श्रेणी में शॉर्टलिस्ट किए गए नामांकन की ऑनलाइन प्रस्तुतियों को मंत्रालय सचिव की अध्यक्षता में गठित उच्च स्तरीय जूरी के समक्ष पेश किया गया और उसके बाद अंतिम विजेता का चुनाव हुआ।

Madhya Pradesh Migrant Workers and Employment Bridge Portal conferred Silver Award for innovation in epidemic : President Ram Nath Kovind
District Khargone has been awarded the Platinum Award for Excellence in Digital Governance - District Category for the district website. Union Minister of Law and Justice, Communications, Electronics and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad, Secretary (MEITY) Ajay Sahni and other dignitaries attended the award ceremony from Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi and Bhopal, Kolkata, Chennai and various places.
These portals are an expression of the vision of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country to implement such a scheme during the COVID-19 epidemic. The innovation category in the Digital India Award epidemic honors a government institution that has developed excellent, innovative and digital solutions to enable citizens to easily carry out various activities during epidemics in areas such as communication, health, education, travel Or Ensured continuity of government services.
The Madhya Pradesh Pravasi Shramik Portal and Shramik Seva Mobile App helped in the identification and registration of migrant workers and their family members during the COVID-19 epidemic. The integrated database of migrant workers created by this portal is being used by government departments and district administration for the rehabilitation and welfare of migrant workers. Efforts are being made to provide employment to migrant and other workers in their own village and city based on their skills and prior experience through Rojgar Setu portal.
Awards Category Excellence in Digital Governance - The achievements of district administration in the district are awarded which have exemplary focus on providing comprehensive information in regional language to the citizens. Khargone's district website has been awarded the Platinum Award for being an authentic and reliable single window information dissemination system in meeting citizen-centric aspirations. This website is handicapped-friendly as well as displays access to important aspects of the district such as tourism, art, culture, handicrafts and utilities. Information on this website is available in both English and Hindi languages.
In Madhya Pradesh 2 out of six categories :- The Digital India Award is an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to honor exemplary initiatives and practices in digital-governance. The 6th Digital India Awards 2020 has been announced in six categories - Innovation in Epidemic, Excellence in Digital Governance - Union Ministries / Departments; Excellence in Digital Governance - State / UT, Excellence in Digital Governance - District, Open Data Champion; And exemplary products.
The process of online nominations for these awards began on October 23 and continued for a month. During this time 402 nominations were received. The shortlisting and ranking of nominations was done by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. The online presentations of the shortlisted nominations in each category were presented to a high-level jury constituted under the chairmanship of the Ministry Secretary, followed by the final winner.
