आत्मनिर्भर मध्यप्रदेश के लिए पहल :- मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा कि वे महिलाओं को रोजगार उपलब्ध कराने के लिए लगातार प्रयास कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने पिछली कलेक्टर कॉन्फ्रेंस में भोपाल के परम्परागत जरी-जरद़ोजी के कार्य को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पहचान और बाजार उपलब्ध कराने के कलेक्टर को निर्देश दिए थे। राग - भोपाली 2020' उसी की शुरूआत है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस आयोजन के अच्छे परिणाम होंगे और हमारी बहनों को रोजगार भी मिलेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि एक जिला - एक शिल्प को प्रोत्साहित करने की यह शुरूआत है।
मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान जरी - जरद़ोजी करते शिल्पकारों से हुए रू-ब-रू :- मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान गौहर महल पहुँचते ही सबसे पहले जरी - जरद़ोजी का काम कर रही बहनों से मिले और उन्होंने इस बारीक कार्य को होते हुए देखा। उन्होंने शिल्पियों से जरदोजी कार्य की बारीकियां भी समझीं और कहा कि यह शुरूआत है,आगे आपको अपने कार्यों को पहचान देने के साथ ही बाजार उपलब्ध कराने के हरसंभव प्रयास किए जाएंगे। मुख्यमंत्री को शिल्पियों ने अपने शिल्प भी भेंट किए।
कन्या पूजन और बांस शिल्प के गणेश की पूजा :- मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने यहाँ छह कन्याओं का पूजन कर 'राग - भोपाली 2020' का शुभारंभ किया। कन्या - पूजन में प्राय : सभी धर्म और वर्ग की बेटियां शामिल थीं। मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने बांस और जूट शिल्प से बनाए गए भगवान गणेश की पूजा की और शिल्प के दीपों को भी प्रज्जवलित किया।
जरी-जरद़ोजी और जूट शिल्प सेक्टर में हौसला अफजाई :- मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान राग - भोपाली के जरी - जरद़ोजी और जूट शिल्प दोनों सेक्टर में गए और शिल्पियों से उनके उत्पादों की विशेषताएँ भी जानीं। उन्होंने कहा कि इस परम्परागत कला को जीवित रखने के हरसंभव उपाय किए जाएंगे।
शिल्पियों को प्रमाण - पत्र वितरित :- मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने संत रविदास म.प्र.हस्तशिल्प एवं हाथकरघा विकास निगम,भोपाल द्वारा जरी-जरद़ोजी प्रशिक्षण अंतर्गत शिल्पियों को प्रमाण - पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया। निगम द्वारा उन्नत औजार उपकरण वितरण योजना के तहत अंकिता जाटव,राजनंदनी चौधरी,नन्नी बाई अहिरवार सहित 40 लोगों को उपकरण वितरित किए। उन्होंने उषा अहिरवार,मोहिनी किशवाद,सरीता अहिरवार सहित अन्य 20 शिल्पियों को शिल्पी पहचान-पत्र दिये गये।
1938 की जरद़ोजी देख अभिभूत हुए मुख्यमंत्री :- प्रदर्शनी में भोपाल की कई जरी - जरद़ोजी शिल्प का प्रदर्शन किया गया है। ऐसे ही एक शिल्पी मुमताज द्वारा असली चांदी और सोने की जरी से 1938 में दुपट्टे पर की गई जरद़ोजी प्रस्तुत की है। मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान इस कला को देखकर अभिभूत हुए। उन्होंने कहा कि वे इस कला को आगे ले जाने के लिए प्रयास करेंगे। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान को कलेक्टर अविनाश लवानिया ने आत्म निर्भर - राग भोपाली 2020 की जरी - जरद़ोजी और जूट से बनी प्रतिकृति भी भेंट की।
मुख्यमंत्री ने लिखा - रोजगार मिलता रहे इसके लिए हर संभव उपाय करेंगे :- मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने गौहर महल से प्रस्थान करने से पूर्व विजिटर्स बुक में लिखा कि 'राग भोपाल के कारीगरों और हमारी बहनों द्वारा जरी का काम जो वर्षों से भोपाल में चला आ रहा है,उसे बाजार से जोड़ने का प्रयास किया है। यह कला आगे बढ़ती रहे और बहनों तथा कारीगरों को रोजगार मिलता रहे,इसके लिए हरसंभव उपाय करेंगे।

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan inaugurated the Raag-Bhopali 2020
Initiative for self - reliant Madhya Pradesh :- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he is constantly making efforts to provide employment to women. In the last collector conference, he had instructed the collector to provide international recognition and market for the work of traditional zari-zardozi of Bhopal. Raag - Bhopali 2020 'is the beginning of that. He said that this event will have good results and our sisters will also get employment. He said that this is the beginning of promoting a district - a craft.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan Zari - The interaction with the artisans doing zardozi :- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan met the sisters doing zardozi work as soon as they reached Gauhar Mahal and saw this fine work happening. He also understood the specifics of Zardozi work with the craftsmen and said that this is the beginning, further efforts will be made to provide you with recognition of your works and market. The craftsmen also presented their crafts to the Chief Minister.
Worshiping Ganesha of Kanya Pujan and Bamboo Craft :- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan worshiped six girls and inaugurated 'Raag - Bhopali 2020' here. Kanya-pujan consisted of daughters of all religions and classes. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan worshiped Lord Ganesha made of bamboo and jute crafts and also lit the lamps of the craft.
Encouragement in Zari - Zardozi and Jute Crafts Sector :- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan went to Raag - Zari - Zardozi and Jute Crafts sector of Bhopali and also got to know the characteristics of their products from the craftsmen. He said that all possible measures will be taken to keep this traditional art alive.
Certificates distributed to the craftsmen :- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan honored the craftsmen by giving certificates to the craftsmen under zari-zardozi training by Sant Ravidas MP Handicrafts and Handloom Development Corporation,Bhopal. The corporation distributed equipment to 40 people including Ankita Jatav, Rajnandani Choudhary,Nanni Bai Ahirwar under the Advanced Tool Equipment Distribution Scheme. He gave craftsmanship identity cards to Usha Ahirwar, Mohini Kishwad, Sarita Ahirwar and other 20 craftsmen.
Chief Minister was overwhelmed by seeing Zardozi of 1938 :- Many zari-Zardozi crafts of Bhopal have been displayed in the exhibition. One such artisan Mumtaz has presented a zardozi made on a dupatta in 1938 with real silver and gold brocade. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan was overwhelmed seeing this art. They said that they would try to take this art forward. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan presented a self-reliant - Raga Bhopali 2020 zari - replica made of zardozi and jute by Chief Minister Avinash Lavaniya.
