योजना के तहत प्रति परिवार मिलेगा 5 लाख रुपए का वित्तीय कवर :- बयान में कहा गया कि यह योजना जम्मू - कश्मीर केंद्रशासित प्रदेश में रहने वाले सभी लोगों को मुफ्त बीमा कवर प्रदान करती है। इसके अंतर्गत जम्मू - कश्मीर के सभी निवासियों को फ्लोटर बेसिस पर 5 लाख रुपये प्रति परिवार वित्तीय कवर उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। बयान के मुताबिक,पीएम - जय के परिचालन विस्तार से 15 लाख (लगभग) अतिरिक्त परिवारों को लाभ होगा। यह योजना बीमा मोड पर पीएम - जय के साथ मिलकर संचालित होगी। इस योजना का लाभ पूरे देश में कहीं भी उठाया जा सकता है। पीएम - जेएवाई योजना के तहत सूचीबद्ध अस्पताल इस योजना के तहत भी सेवाएं प्रदान करेंगे। प्रधानमंत्री जन-आरोग योजना (पीएम-जेएवाई) के तहत पैनल में शामिल अस्पताल स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराएंगे।
सार्वभौम स्वास्थ्य कवरेज (यूएचसी) में स्वास्थ्य संवर्धन से लेकर रोकथाम,उपचार,पुनर्वास और आवश्यक,गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं का पूरा स्पेक्ट्रम और चिकित्सकीय देखभाल शामिल है। इसके माध्यम से सेवाओं तक सभी की पहुंच होती है, लोगों को अपनी जेब से स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के लिए भुगतान करने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ती है और इलाज के चलते लोगों के गरीबी के दलदल में फंसने का जोखिम कम करता है। आयुष्मान भारत कार्यक्रम के दो स्तंभों - स्वास्थ्य और कल्याण केंद्रों और प्रधानमंत्री जन आरोग्य योजना के तहत सार्वभौमिक स्वास्थ्य कवरेज हासिल करने की परिकल्पना की गई है।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Ayushman Bharat scheme for people of Jammu Kashmir tomorrow
Financial cover of Rs 5 lakh per family will be provided under the scheme: - The statement said that the scheme provides free insurance cover to all the people living in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. Under this, all the residents of Jammu and Kashmir will be provided financial cover of Rs 5 lakh per family on floater basis. According to the statement, 15 lakh (approximately) additional families will benefit from PM-Jai's operational expansion. The scheme will operate in conjunction with PM-Jai on insurance mode. The scheme can be availed anywhere in the country. Hospitals listed under PM-JAY scheme will also provide services under this scheme. The empaneled hospitals will provide health services under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY).
Universal Health Coverage (UHC) encompasses a full spectrum of health promotion to prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and essential, quality health services and medical care. Through this, everyone has access to services, people do not have to pay for health services out of their pocket. And treatment reduces the risk of people getting caught in the morass of poverty. The two pillars of the Ayushman Bharat program - Health and Welfare Centers and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana are envisaged to achieve universal health coverage.
