दिल्ली मेट्रो ने एक बयान में कहा है कि नयी पीढ़ी की इन रेलगाड़ियों के परिचालन से दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कॉपोरेशन (डीएमआरसी) विश्व के उन सात प्रतिशत मेट्रो नेटवर्क के विशिष्ट समूह में शामिल हो जाएगा जो चालक रहित परिचालन की सेवाएं दे रहे हैं। बयान के मुताबिक 37 किलोमीटर लंबी मजेंटा लाइन पर जनकपुरी पश्चिम से बोटेनिकल गार्डन के बीच चालक रहित मेट्रो सेवा शुरू होने के बाद 57 किलोमीटर लंबी पिंक लाइन पर मजलिस पार्क और शिव विहार के बीच 2021 के मध्य तक चालक रहित मेट्रो सेवा की शुरुआत की जाएगी।
दिल्ली मेट्रो के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने कहा कि नयी पीढ़ी की इन सेवाओं की व्यावसायिक शुरुआत एक बड़ी उपलब्धि होगी और उद्घाटन के अगले दिन शुरू कर दी जाएगी। बयान में कहा गया है कि चालकरहित ट्रेनें पूरी तरह से स्वचालित होंगी जिसमें मानवीय हस्तक्षेप कम से कम होगा वहीं मानवीय त्रुटियों की आशंकाएं भी कम होंगी। पिंक लाइन पर 2021 के मध्य तक मानव रहित मेट्रो का परिचालन शुरू होने की संभावना है। इसके साथ चालकरहित मेट्रो परिचालन का नेटवर्क लगभग 94 किलोमीटर हो जाएगा।
अब रूपे कार्ड से आसान होगा सफर :- प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी सुबह 11 बजे वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस के माध्यम से दिल्ली मेट्रो की मजेंटा लाइन (जनकपुरी पश्चिम - बोटेनिकल गार्डेन) पर भारत की पहली चालक रहित ट्रेन परिचालन सेवा के साथ ही एयरपोर्ट एक्सप्रेस लाइन पर नेशनल कॉमन मोबिलिटी कार्ड सेवा का उद्घाटन करेंगे। नेशनल कॉमन मोबिलिटी कार्ड (NCMC) की सेवा शुरू होते ही यात्रियों को स्मार्ट कार्ड या टोकन लेने की जरूरत नहीं होगी,बल्कि वो रूपे डेबिट कार्ड से ही सफर कर सकेंगे। यात्री जैसे ही कार्ड पंच करेंगे,अकाउंट से पैसे कट जाएंगे।
3 साल से चल रहा है ट्रायल :- दिल्ली मेट्रो ने ड्राइवरलेस ट्रेन को एक बड़ी तकनीकी उपलब्धि बताया है। दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कॉरपोरेशन (DMRC) पिछले करीब 3 साल से ड्राइवरलैस मेट्रो ट्रेन का ट्रायल कर रहा था। दिल्ली मेट्रो ने पहली बार सितंबर 2017 को इसका ट्रायल शुरू किया था।

ये हैं ड्राइवरलैस मेट्रो की खूबियां 1. ड्राइवरलेस ट्रेन में केबिन नहीं होगा, कोच की डिजाइन नई होगी। 2 2. ड्राइवरलेस ट्रेन में भी आम मेट्रो रेल की तरह 6 कोच होंगे। 3 3. ड्राइवरलेस ट्रेन की रफ्तार अधिकतम 95 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा होगी। 4 4. 85 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार के साथ यह अपना सफर शुरू करेगी। 5 5. ड्राइवरलेस ट्रेन में 2,280 यात्री एक बार में सफर कर सकते हैं 6 6. हर कोच में 380 यात्री सवार हो सकते हैं। 7 7. डीएमआरसी ऑटोमैटिक ट्रेन सुपरविजन सिस्टम का मेट्रो परिचान में इस्तेमाल करेगी 8 8. ड्राइवरलेस ट्रेन कंट्रोल रूम से ऑटोमैटिक ऑपरेट की जाएगी। 9 9. सबसे खास फीचर ट्रेन के अंदर और बाहर लगे अत्याधुनिक कैमरे होंगे। 10. सेंसर आधारित ब्रेक किसी भी हादसे के वक्त तुंरत लग जाएंगे

Prime Minister Narendra Modi flags off country's first driverless metro
Delhi Metro has said in a statement that the operation of these new generation trains will make Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to join the elite group of seven percent of the world's metro networks which are providing driverless operations. According to the statement, after the commencement of driverless metro service between Janakpuri West to Botanical Gardens on 37 km long Magenta Line, driverless metro service will be started by mid 2021 between Majlis Park and Shiv Vihar on 57 km long Pink Line.
A senior Delhi Metro official said that the commercial start of these services of the new generation would be a major achievement and would be started on the next day of inauguration. The statement said that driverless trains will be fully automated in which human intervention will be minimized, while the chances of human errors will also be reduced. The unmanned metro is expected to start operating by mid-2021 on the Pink Line. With this,the network of non-operational metro operations will be around 94 kilometers.
Now the journey will be easy with the RuPay card :- Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 11 am via video conference, India's first driverless train operating service on Delhi Metro's Magenta Line (Janakpuri West - Botanical Garden) as well as National Common on Airport Express Line Will inaugurate mobility card service. Travelers will not need to take a smart card or token as soon as the service of the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) starts, but they will be able to travel only with the RuPay Debit Card. As soon as the passengers punch the card, the money will be deducted from the account.
Trial has been going on for 3 years :- Delhi Metro has described driverless train as a major technological achievement. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) had been trialling the driverless metro train for the last about 3 years. Delhi Metro first started its trial in September 2017.
