मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने जयंती समारोह को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि बाबा गुरु घासीदास के द्वारा कहे गए आदर्श वाक्य मनखे मनखे एक समान को आत्मसात करने से ही मानव जीवन का कल्याण हो सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि सभी मानवों को एक समान मानते हुए प्रदेश सरकार बिना भेदभाव के सभी के हित में काम कर रही है और बाबा जी के आदर्शों और नैतिकता के रास्ते पर चलते हुए ही प्रदेश सरकार ने सफलतम 2 वर्ष पूरे कर लिए हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि सभी वर्गों के हितों को ध्यान में रखकर राज्य सरकार योजना बना रही है। मुख्यमंत्री ने सिमगा में सभा को सम्बोधित करते हुए सभी वर्गो के लोगों को राज्य और देश के विकास में भागीदार बनने की अपील भी की। मुख्यमंत्री ने अपार जनसमुदाय एवं बाबा गुरूघासीदास जी के अनुयायियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि गुरू घासीदास ने सामाजिक एकता का संदेश दिया है। आपसी भाईचारा और शांति के पथ पर चलने के लिए प्रेरित किया है। उन्होंने मनखे-मनखे एक समान का संदेश देकर समाज की एकता के लिए मार्ग प्रशस्त किया है। कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत राज गीत अरपा पैरी के धार से हुयी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने आगे कहा कि किसानो को आर्थिक रूप से सक्षम बनाने के लिए राज्य सरकार ने राजीव गांधी न्याय योजना के माध्यम से प्रति एकड़ दस हजार रूपए देना प्रारंभ किया है। जिसकी तीन किस्तें किसानों को मिलने से खुशहाली का माहौल है। चौथी और अंतिम किस्त का भी भुगतान मार्च के महीने में किया जाएगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि गौमाता की सेवा के लिए अनेक योजनाएं बनाई है। विगत दो वर्षों में गांव में गौठान बनाकर गोबर को दो रूपए में खरीदने के लिए गोधन न्याय योजना बनाकर गौमाता की सेवा करने वाला छत्तीसगढ़ देश का पहला राज्य है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अनुसूचित जाति जनजाति के उत्थान के लिए अनेक कदम उठाए गए हैं।
नगरीय प्रशासन एवं विकास मंत्री डॉ.शिव डहरिया ने कहा कि समाज में अन्याय एवं अत्याचार से लड़ने का एकमात्र रास्ता सत्य एवं अहिंसा है। इसी रास्ते पर चलने का रास्ता बाबा जी ने दिखाया है। लोक स्वास्थ्य यांत्रिकी मंत्री गुरू रूद्रकुमार ने कहा कि बाबा जी ने कहा है कि हम ऐसे काम करें कि जिससे दूसरों को कष्ट ना हो। जैतखाम के सफेद पालों की तरह हमें अपने शरीर और आत्मा को शुद्ध रखने चाहिए।
उन्होंने कहा कि वर्ष 2023 तक राज्य के प्रत्येक गांव के प्रत्येक घर में नल के जरिये पानी पहुंचा कर दिया जाएगा। इसकी कार्य - योजना तैयार हो चुकी है। समारोह को कृषक कल्याण बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष सुरेन्द्र शर्मा और जिला पंचायत उपाध्यक्ष सरिता ठाकुर ने भी सम्बोधित किया। जिला पंचायत सदस्य रमेश धृतलहरे ने आयोजन समिति की ओर से स्वागत उद्बोधन एवं मांग पत्र प्रस्तुत किया। इस अवसर पर खनिज विकास निगम के अध्यक्ष गिरीश देवांगन एवं संसदीय सचिव शकुन्तला साहू भी उपस्थित थीं।

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attends Guru Ghasidas Jayanti celebrations held in Simga
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while addressing the jubilee celebrations said that only by imbibing the motto Mankhe Mankhe Maneka, uttered by Baba Guru Ghasidas, can lead to welfare of human life. He said that considering all human beings as equal, the state government is working in the interest of all without discrimination and the state government has completed a successful 2 years only by following the path of Baba Ji's ideals and morals.
He said that the state government is making plans keeping in mind the interests of all sections. While addressing the gathering at Simga, the Chief Minister also appealed people of all sections to become partners in the development of the state and the country. While addressing the immense masses and followers of Baba Gurughasidas Ji, the Chief Minister said that Guru Ghasidas has given the message of social unity. It has inspired us to follow the path of mutual brotherhood and peace. He has paved the way for the unity of the society by conveying a similar message. The program started with the Raj song Arpa Parry's Dhar.
The Chief Minister further said that to make the farmers financially competent, the State Government has started giving ten thousand rupees per acre through the Rajiv Gandhi Nyaya Yojana. There is an atmosphere of prosperity with the farmers getting three installments. The fourth and final installment will also be paid in the month of March. The Chief Minister said that several plans have been made to serve Gaumata. In the last two years, Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country to serve Gowmata by constructing Gauthan in the village and purchasing the cow dung for two rupees. The Chief Minister said that several steps have been taken for the upliftment of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Dahria said that truth and non-violence is the only way to fight injustice and atrocities in the society. Baba Ji has shown the way to walk on this path. Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar said that Baba Ji has said that we should do such things that others do not suffer. Like the white sails of Jaitkham, we must keep our body and soul pure.
He said that by the year 2023,water will be delivered to every house in every village of the state through tap. Its work plan has been prepared. Farmers Welfare Board President Surendra Sharma and District Panchayat Vice President Sarita Thakur also addressed the function. District Panchayat member Ramesh Dhritlhare presented the welcome address and demand letter on behalf of the organizing committee. Chairman of Mineral Development Corporation Girish Dewangan and Parliamentary Secretary Shakuntala Sahu were also present on the occasion.
